PART 2! Penn Jillette is one of the most interesting guys I've ever interviewed. He is a well known entertainer, magician, atheist, libertarian, skeptic, best selling author, and 1/2 of "Penn & Teller", the longest running headliners to play in the same Vegas hotel at 16 years and running. Besides his star turn on "Celebrity Apprentice" he and Teller created and starred in the hit shows, "Penn and Teller: Bullshit!", and "Penn and Teller: Fool Us". His latest best-selling book “Presto, How I Made 100 lbs Disappear And Other Magical Tales” will be out in paperback June 6th”. But aside from one of the most prolific careers anyone has ever had, he is also a wonderful father to his two kids, Zolten and Moxie. We talked for almost two hours about so many different things that I had to break it up into 2 parts. You'll get Penn's view on Parenthood and how his parents brought him up. He's an amazing guy and he was funny, open, and really smart. I would've talked for hours longer but he was off to an upcoming TV appearance that I can't mention. He is truly the hardest working guy in show business. Enjoy!

You'll know him best as the "Caveman" from the Geico commercials, but John Lehr is an accomplished actor, writer, director, and show runner. He co-created the shows "10 Items or Less" for TBS,  "Quick Draw" for Hulu, and "Jail Bait" for Hulu. But today we talk about parenting. The tale of his parents staying together till the kids went to college is absolutely amazing. The story of making 60 grand a week to play a mute is phenomenal. And the fable of the night he spent in a Santa Barbara Jail on acid is unbelievable. (John has been sober for a long time now). One of my favorite story tellers we've had on the podcast. His raw honesty is so refreshing. There's a reason his shows do so well. He's a fantastic family guy now but his "back story" is great fodder for the sit-com world he's helping create. To follow what John is up to, check him out on his website, howler.tv

Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings at a Las Vegas coffee house. As one of today’s vastly growing stand-up comedians, Koy sells-out comedy clubs & theaters across the nation with his infectious, explosive energy onstage. The comedian pulls inspiration from his family, specifically his son, that inspires humor across all boundaries.

Koy, who was raised in Tacoma, WA, credits his mother for his comedic and acting talents. She encouraged him to participate in school talent shows and to hold impromptu performances for his family and friends. This loving support led to performances at a Las Vegas coffee house, and inspired a move to Los Angeles.

In 2005, Koy had the “opportunity of a lifetime,” when he performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He became one of a select few comics to receive a standing ovation on the show.

Since then, Koy has had two highly-rated and successful comedy specials on Comedy Central, Don’t Make Him Angry and Lights Out. In 2017, Koy will be releasing his 3rd comedy special, Jo Koy: Live from Seattle as a Netflix Original on March 28th world-wide.

Today, the comedian tours across the nation, and can be heard as a weekly guest on the popular podcast, The Adam Carolla Show. Koy recently joined the Podcast One family and host’s the weekly podcast, The Koy Pond. For more info on the podcast and tour dates, please visit: Jokoy.com.

Koy has also appeared on over 100 episodes of Chelsea Lately as a season regular roundtable guest. Other appearances include: VH1, World’s Funniest Fails, The Joy Behar Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly and Jamie Foxx: Laffapalooza.

Jo's honesty about his upbringing and his kids is not only hilarious but inspiring to all parents out there. I'm really excited for everyone to hear this one.

Jim Florentine figured a way to make a living out of his love of AC/DC and making prank phone calls. You'll know him as the co-host of the VH1's wildly popular, "The Metal Show", or maybe from Crank Yankers, Train Wreck, Beer League, Howard Stern, Jimmy Kimmel, or Chelsea Lately, or a ton of other stuff. He has a successful podcast, "Comedy Mental Midgets" and his new comedy special, "A Simple Man" can be found on iTunes. From his Dad's sex talk of "Don't grab women!", to using saran wrap as a condom, to sending flowers to a co-worker from a "Secret Admirer" which went horribly awry, Jim's distinctive comedy voice hilariously tells you about his journey to fatherhood.

You'll know him from Raising Hope, My Name is Earl, Cafe Society or as the Del Taco Guy. But Greg is also the Father to 3 kids. His honest stories of growing up in Topeka, Kansas, to playing a Barney Fife impersonator at the Ed Debevic's Restaurant, to getting nude with his Father-in-Law at a Japanese bath make for great listening.

This podcast makes me soooo happy. This dude is the real f'ing deal. I love it when good things happen to amazing people. I met Rocco at the GI Film Festival with Mat Best, Jarred Taylor and the rest of his Article 15/Youtube Star posse. They were showcasing their 1.2 million dollar crowd funded movie, "Range 15" to rave reviews. He's a real American Hero who served 3 combat deployments as a Ranger, then served as a Federal Agent, then became a youtube star, and now is about to become a TV star with a big pilot he's shooting this month. Oh, and he has 6 KIDS! Here's his official bio: Vincent “Rocco” Vargas was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. After several years of college baseball, Vincent enlisted in the US Army and went on to serve 3 combat deployments with 2nd Battalion of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. After 4 years of active duty service to his country, he joined the U.S. Army Reserves and continue his service. In 2009 he became a Federal Agent with the Department of Homeland Security, and was a BORSTAR Agent with the Special Operations Group attached to BORTAC. Currently one of the owners of the Article 15 "Empire", Leadslingers Whiskey, Warfighter Tobacco and more. He is married and a father of 6 children and lives in Texas.

You might know Jeff Lewis from The Guild, Hail Caesar! or even my web series "Dads in Parks", but after this podcast, you'll remember him from the craziest stories you've ever heard. Vasectomies, illicit drug use and doughnut delivery, getting hit and dragged by a car, the horrors of childbirth, and mushrooms. This was the first podcast I ever did as a pilot for my Howl podcast and it's funny to look back on how it all began. Jeff is hilarious as always and will definitely be back to update these stories. His honesty is a virtue to behold...and laugh at.

You definitely know Dean Cameron. He was "Chain Saw" in "Summer School". Yes, that guy. From "Ski School" and "Ski School II, Electric Boogaloo"? Yes, that's him.  His credit list is amazing, NCIS, Men at Work, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Straight Outta Compton...but his life is even crazier. From early success with Carl Reiner directing his first film, to doing dinner shows in Vegas as a Wizard, to rising like a phoenix, and now becoming one of Hollywood's go to character actors. "Chain Saw" is now a father. Come along for one of my fave rides as Dean shares stories of shooting a zombie film with a pre-"Friends" Matt LeBlanc, conning an internet con artist from Nigeria out of money (true story), and growing up with 5 different fathers in his life. How is that possible? You'll have to listen. It's insane.

Comedian and Writer, Brian Kiley, is an anomaly in Hollywood. An Irish Catholic family guy who's had the same job in entertainment for 23 years. And also one of the nicest guys in town. He's appeared on late night TV (The Tonight Show) as a comic many times and had a Comedy Central half hour special, but he's been a staff writer and now head monologue writer for Conan O'Brien... for 23 years. This will become obvious when you hear his stories. Growing up in Boston with a father who served in the Battle of the Bulge, Brian is a pro at taking real life stories and making them really funny. From teaching kids to drive, to dropping your kids off at college, to having the Red Sox collapse coincide with your Dad's death, Brian's stories of life are sincere, honest and truly funny. Enjoy!

Comic and Dad, Eddie Pence joins me for this episode of Father Time where we discuss the fear of having twins, latch-key kids, safe words, government jobs, why to never try heroin, cussing about "Frozen", the ramifications of kicking your father in the ass, and why to never shoot for the stars because physically they are impossible to reach. Despite our biting sarcasm, Eddie's a great dad who shares honest stories of trying to raise kids in today's world.

You may know Alex from her run on MAD TV where she played Ms. Swan among other characters, or as Lois Griffin, the matriarch on "Family Guy", or as Dawn on the hit HBO series, "Getting On", but today you'll know her as a loving and ridiculously funny Mom to two beautiful children. And yes, the show is called Father Time, but when you have a chance to chat with one of today's best comedic actresses, you take it. Plus, sometimes it is necessary to be reminded just how stupid we dads are. And trust me, Alex definitely does that. My huge thanks to her for coming on the show and I know you'll enjoy her candid take on parenthood.

Ron Del Barrio is THE golf teacher to the stars. Whether it's Larry David, Sylvester Stallone, Joe Pesci, Tommy Lee or hundreds of others, this former PGA tour player has taught them all. And he has the stories to back it up. But how does someone who travels around the world in lear jets with Hollywood's elite raise a family? Well, that's why you'll have to listen. He's now a doting dad to a beautiful teenage girl, but his journey as free lance golf pro, paramedic, and even Hollywood stunt man is an amazing story of resilience for a guy who puts family first.

You'll probably recognize Carlos Alazraqui from Reno: 911, but my guess is you've heard him a lot more. This writer, director, actor is one of the busiest voice actors in Hollywood. The Taco Bell Chihuahua, Inside Out, Happy Feet, and Batman: Arkham City are only a few of his 276 listed credits on imdb. You'll definitely hear a ton of his voices in this podcast. He is sincerely one of my funniest friends and you'll hear how he came up through the stand-up world to become one of the most trusted voices in animation. But more importantly, you'll hear about this doting father and his comical tales of parental chaos...like the time he accidentally said the "C" word in front of his daughter or the time he left the car in drive with the baby in it. Not one to be missed.  Find him at http://www.carlosalazraqui.com

The comic twins, Randy and Jason Sklar are probably best known for their ESPN show "Cheap Seats" and their podcasts "Sklarbro Country" and "Dumb People Town", but these writer, actor, directors, have appeared in everything from Entourage to Maron to Curb Your Enthusiasm to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. They're currently recurring on Tru Tv's "Those Who Can't". As stand-ups, they've had two Comedy Central half hour specials and they're one hour special "What Are We Talking About?" will premiere on Seeso in 2017. Most importantly, they are both Dads who have very different parenting styles. Check out they're stories and see what it's like when your kid has to compete in sport against the child of a very famous NBA Player. Find them at www.supersklars.com

Maz Jobrani is not only one of the busiest actors and comedians in Hollywood, but the father of two beautiful children. He has managed to juggle a busy career and a grueling travel schedule with the overwhelming task of raising kids in these crazy times. His body of work includes appearances on everything from NYPD Blue to ER to headlining his own movie "Jimmy Vestvood: American Hero". He will be a series regular on the CBS show "Superior Doughnuts" this spring with Judd Hirsch, Katey Sagal, Jermaine Fowler, and David Koechner. In addition, he has filmed numerous TV Comedy specials and tours the world performing to sold out crowds. All this, plus raising kids. How does he do it? Actually, Pretty well. I learned a ton from him about kids sleeping on their own, picking schools, and how to keep a happy wife ;-). To find out more about Maz, check out his book, "I'm not a Terrorist,  but I've Played one on TV", or see where to catch him live, check him out at mazjobrani.com.

How did an actor go on to become the President of Basketball Operations for the NBA's Portland Tailblazers? Well, you'll have to listen, but it's one of the most inspiring and unlikely stories you'll ever hear. As one of my oldest friends, Neil and I were struggling to make our mark in Hollywood while living the bachelor life. Now we're both married with a couple of kids. See how he runs an NBA franchise while juggling his own family life and how life is different from us living in the same "rent controlled" apartment building 20 years ago to now living in our "wife-controlled" homes. Neil's journey to the top of an NBA front office is one of the best examples of "Do what You love" and we'll contemplate the question of whether "work ethic" is passed on to your children.
